during the aughts, the 2000’s, i was a bartender. I worked in nightclubs, banquets, restaurants and pubs. I learned what it took to master this craft at the groove/opm. a mixologist is a scholar, learned recipes, experiments with unique, exotic flavors. learns the history of the liquors and spirit. maybe they goes as far learning the craft of fermenting. they work a speed, not to effect the consistency of the cocktail. beyond safety this is the most important part of mixology.
